Finding Balance and Inspiration in the Slow of Winter 

I love the slow of winter!! Time too hibernate. Catch up, and take a lil break from photography and work on the business side of things. I am a busy bee... i do better when I am busy typically. If I have a lot of time I tend to procrastinate, but one of the down sides of beeing busy is that it often drains me of creative inspiration. I have a professional career as an art teacher, a passion for teaching yoga, and own my photography business, Kreativity. Life is a bit of a balance. I love all of the different directions my life takes me but sometimes it is hard to balance all of the background things that need to happen.  I am proud to say that as an art teacher I am a practicing artist and a busy photographer. I always thought it was important to set an example for my students and create art. Often times I am so busy taking pics and editing that I am not getting my hands dirty and creating physical art. One of my goals for 2020 is to create some "physical art" that goes along with my brand and passion for yoga and put it out into the universe.  

I have been working on a new website to incorporate yoga, photography, and 'life' since the fall of 2018 and things finally seem to be falling into place. I love the marketing, packaging, and fun things that go along with Kreativity and it's time for the next step and  a lil update!! 

Today i felt inspired to work on finding images for the website. I originally wanted to go with one image for each category (newborns, families, bump pics, weddings, et.). I began scrolling through proofs and went down a rabbit hole. Downloading and saving tons of pictures later.... I found myself feeling grateful for all of the clients and amazing moments I have captured. Literally thousands of pictures. Amazing people, families, engagements, weddings, babies.... and watching children grow. How will i possibly pick one picture????? Still not sure what I will do, BUT!!! it inspired me to finally create an instagram page for Kreativity which led me to my zenfolio page and landing me here... starting my Blog.

Funny how sometimes we start somewhere and end up in another place. I needed this natural slow down of the season to get creative and get inspired. I am excited to post in my Blog and post pics on my instagram Kreativity page. I have so many fun ideas and love to write and just want to share art, Kreativity, and some good vibes w the world!!!!
